Zachary Sykes

Meet Our New Brother

Zachary Sykes

32° · Albert Pike Lodge No. 303

Police OfficerOutdoorsmanOverlander

Zachary is a Police Officer and a 32° Scottish Rite Mason of the Wichita Valley. In his free time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and off-roading/overlanding, embracing any opportunity to explore the outdoors and take on new adventures.

His interest in Freemasonry began with a curiosity about the signs and symbols displayed on the Blue Lodge in the small town where he grew up. That curiosity deepened after learning that the Masons, through the Shriners, had offered assistance to his younger brother. While his family ultimately chose a different path, the kindness and generosity of that gesture left a lasting impression on him.

Today, Zachary joins the fraternity with a desire to learn more about its teachings, traditions, and values, while becoming part of a brotherhood committed to service, personal growth, and making a positive difference in the community.

32° · Albert Pike Lodge No. 303

Sales ExecutiveWorld TravelerCulture Enthusiast

Chad Freund is a Sales Executive at Fiserv and a member of Albert Pike Lodge No. 303, having recently attained the 32° in the Scottish Rite. He and his wife share a passion for travel, making it a goal to visit a new country each summer — experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and creating lasting memories together.

As a former fraternity member at Kansas State University, Chad missed the sense of brotherhood and camaraderie after college. Freemasonry has filled that void, providing fellowship, personal growth, and a renewed sense of purpose. He is grateful for the relationships he has built and looks forward to becoming more involved in the Scottish Rite while continuing his Masonic journey.
